Public Meetings, Fall of 2024

What is this report?

On September 18th and October 8th, 2024, MSU Extension Park County hosted public meetings for the Gardiner Resort Area District at Gardiner High School. There was also a virtual listening session on December 18th, 2024. The meetings started with an activity to test people’s understanding of the Resort Area District.


Next, participants were asked to share their ideas on these questions:

When should the resort tax season happen?

How long should the resort tax last?

Where should the resort area boundaries be?
