Chairman Parks called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Chairman Richard Parks, Vice-Chair Dalling, Secretary-Treasurer Fuhrmann, Director Klein and Admin Manager Bush were present. Director Taylor was absent. No members of the public were in attendance.
Chairman Parks presented the May minutes. Director Klein moved to approve the May minutes. Secretary/Treasurer Fuhrmann seconded the motion. No discussion was needed; all voted in favor; none opposed. Motion passed. Admin Manager Bush presented the current expenses and financial reports for the month. Secretary/Treasurer Fuhrmann moved to approve the current expenses and financial reports. Vice-Chair Dalling seconded the motion. Chair Parks abstained from voting, due to reimbursement check. All voted in favor; none opposed. Motion passed.
In Old Business, Admin Bush presented a design for business cards for the District. These will be available for businesses to hand out to anyone inquiring about the resort tax. Chair Parks updated the Board on the Resort Tax Association’s spring meeting in Red Lodge, MT. All sessions were recorded and posted to their website. Annual dues invoices will be sent out. The next meeting will be held on October 15, 2025, in Billings. The Gardiner Board will consider hosting a meeting sometime in the future. Admin Bush provided the Board with a collections update.
In New Business, Director Klein suggested the Board send out monthly newsletters in an effort to keep everyone informed and provide gently reminders for remittances.
There was no Public Comment.
The next regular Board meeting held will be on Tuesday, July 8th at 7:00 PM at the Gardiner Chamber of Commerce. Director Klein moved to adjourn at 7:52 PM. Vice-Chair Dalling seconded the motion. No discussion was needed; all voted in favor; none opposed. Motion passed.
