Chair Parks called the meeting to order at 7:01 PM. All board members were present including the Administrative Manager, with the exception of Aimee Dawson who was absent. There were no members of the public in attendance.
Administrative Manager Bush presented the June meeting minutes. Vice-Chair Dalling moved to approve the June meeting minutes. Secretary/Treasurer Eleanor Stone seconded the motion. No discussion was needed; all voted in favor; none opposed. Motion passed.
Administrative Manager Bush presented the Recent Expenses statement for the month. Director Gerdes moved to approve the Recent Expense statement and outstanding bills for the month. Secretary/Treasurer Stone seconded the motion. No further discussion was needed; all voted in favor; none opposed. Motion passed.
In Old Business, Secretary/Treasurer Stone reminded the Board about the District’s accountant management letter and her recommendations. She will be sure everyone has a copy of this letter. Director Gerdes updated the Board regarding a couple of new businesses in town.
Vice-Chair Dalling updated the Board with a list of companies providing tours of Yellowstone and horseback riding adventures. He will contact some of the new ones to introduce the Tax Resort District to any new owners. Chair Parks updated the Board regarding his inquiries into new legal counsel. No changes will be made at this time.
In New Business, Manager Bush updated the Board regarding an inquiry concerning a catering business. Manager Bush will contact the owner and direct them to the Ordinance, Section 9, Sub-Section 7.
There was no public comment. The Board moved into an Executive Session at 7:25 PM to discuss delinquent businesses.
The Executive Session was ended at 8:00 PM with no actions being taken.
The next regular meeting will be held on Monday, August 5th at 7:00 PM at the Gardiner Visitor Center. Vice-Chair Dalling moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:03 PM. Director Gerdes seconded the motion. No discussion was needed; all voted in favor; none opposed. Motion passed.
